IAM(HER)CYSTER is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women living with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) through education, wellness, advocacy, and community support.
Founded by Keyana Price after her own personal journey with PCOS, IAM(HER)CYSTER was created to address the lack of information, resources, and support available to women navigating this often misunderstood condition. Like many women living with PCOS, Keyana experienced the challenges of understanding her diagnosis, advocating for herself within the healthcare system, and finding the tools needed to manage her symptoms. Through that experience, she recognized the need for a community where women could access education, support, and practical resources to improve their quality of life.
Today, IAM(HER)CYSTER provides educational workshops, restorative wellness classes, nutrition education, healthcare navigation, and peer support opportunities for women affected by PCOS throughout San Diego County. Our programs focus on helping women better understand their diagnosis, advocate for their healthcare needs, improve their physical and mental well-being, and build lasting connections with others who share similar experiences.
Over the past year, IAM(HER)CYSTER has hosted restorative wellness workshops focused on mental health, PCOS education, self-advocacy, understanding blood work, journaling, vision boards, vision books, and healthy lifestyle practices. Through these programs, we have built a growing community of women committed to supporting one another while developing sustainable tools for long-term health and wellness.
We believe that every woman deserves access to the knowledge, resources, and support necessary to thrive. Our mission is to ensure that no woman living with PCOS has to navigate her journey alone.
Together, we are building a community of informed, empowered, and supported Cysters.
